Upload a world

How to Upload a World to Your Minefort Console Using SFTP (FileZilla)

Uploading a custom world to your Minefort server is simple with SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) using FileZilla. Follow this step-by-step guide to get started!

Step 1: Install FileZilla

If you don’t already have FileZilla installed, you can download it from the official website: https://filezilla-project.org.

Step 2: Find Your SFTP Login Details

To connect to your server via SFTP, you’ll need the following:

Host: Your server's IP address or domain.
Port: The SFTP port (usually 22).
Username and Password: Found in your Minefort panel under SFTP Details.

Step 3: Connect to Your Server

Open FileZilla.
Enter your SFTP details in the top bar:

Host: Your server’s IP or domain.

Username: Provided in your Minefort panel.

Password: Your account password.

Port: Use 22 for SFTP.
Click Quickconnect.

Step 4: Upload Your World

Once connected, navigate to the server directory where worlds are stored (usually /worlds/).
On your computer, locate the folder of the world you wish to upload. Ensure the folder name matches the one set in your server settings.
Drag and drop the world folder from your computer into the FileZilla window to upload it to your server.

Step 5: Configure Your Server

After uploading the world:

Log into your Minefort panel.
Go to Server Settings and set the world name to match the folder you uploaded.
