# How to reset your Minefort server?

There are several reasons why you might want to reset your Minefort server:

1. To clear out old or unwanted data: Over time, your server can accumulate a large amount of data in the form of player builds, entities, and other items. Resetting the server can help to clear out this data and free up space;
2. To start fresh with a new map: Sometimes you may want to start a new world with different settings, biomes, or resources. In this case, resetting the server is a way to do this;
3. To fix issues with the current world: If your server is experiencing issues such as lag, crashes, or corruption, resetting the server can help to resolve these issues;
4. To make changes to the rules or plugin: Sometimes, there is a need to change the rules of the server, or the plugins that the server is running. Resetting the server can allow for these changes to be made;
5. To change the theme or objective: Sometimes players may want to change the theme of the server or the objective of the game. Resetting the server can allow this change to happen;
