How do I change my gamemode?
To change your gamemode on a Minecraft server you can use the /gamemode command. Please note that you have to be server operator (OP) in order to use the command. If you’re not a server operator (OP) yet, please read this article first.
In order to change your gamemode, you would typically type out the command in the following format:
The current available gamemodes in Minecraft are: survival, creative, adventure and spectator. For more information regarding the gamemodes and what exactly they do, please refer to this article.
Now, let’s say your Minecraft username is Steve, and you want to set your gamemode to creative. Your command would look like the following:
Enter the command whilst in your Minecraft server, easy as that! You’ve now successfully set the gamemode of Steve to creative 😊
